Meet the Manager

After moving to the UK from Argentina when I was 6, with my Scottish Father and Argentinean Mother; we settled in Crawley, where I would grow up, attending the local schools. Starting at Gatwick Airport, I enjoyed a career as a Civil Servant where I met my wife and then traveled to Africa and where we spent a number of years living.

With a desire to run my own business; I joined Cloudy2Clear Windows in the summer of 2014. With their excellent support and training, we quickly established our business as a popular choice in double glazing repairs for our local community. We are a husband and wife team and our customers love the personal touch that offers. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our testimonials demonstrate how our customers feel about us.

Outside of work; we have a young family to care for and enjoy all sorts of interests. I play 5 aside football and tennis, and my wife is a keen baker and loves to go dancing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is double glazing worth it?

Absolutely! Despite some initial costs, double-glazing is an investment that allows you to reap multiple benefits. Not only will it keep your home quiet, free from damp and without draughts, but, it will also add value to your home and help you save money on your energy bills — so you’ll soon see a return on your investment.

How much are window repairs?

Repairing windows can vary in price depending on who you choose to work with and the complexity of the job, especially with double glazing. By choosing a traditional glazier, you can expect to be charged anywhere from £500 to £1750 per window. At Cloudy2Clear, we’ve developed our method of replacing the pane instead of the frame to save our customers time and money on double glazing repairs. Get in touch with your local branch to book a free, no-obligation quote.

Can you replace double glazing on doors?

Yes. The same ingenuity that goes into our double glazing window replacement is used to upgrade faulty double glazing on doors. The cost of replacing double glazing on doors will depend on the size of the glass.

Does double glazing add property value?

Double glazing is seen as a must-have for many prospective homeowners. As such, upgrading your old single-glazed windows to double glazing can see an increase of as much as 10% to your property’s value.

When should I replace my double glazing?

You should replace your double glazing when you notice condensation or mist forming between the window panes. This means the seals are failing and moisture is getting trapped inside, which can lead to heat loss, damp and can risk damaging the frame.

What our Crawley & Gatwick customers think

Really efficient

"Really efficient. Long guarantee. Very reasonable price for a proper job (the window units are actually replaced). Very tidy and thorough tradesmen. I would definitely recommend this way of fixing fogged up windows."

Richard Blackwell - 25/7/22

Fantastic service

"Fantastic service. Quick to quote and then carry out the repair. New windows match perfectly, even with the leading. Lovely team, very helpful & professional."

Caroline Nicholas - 18/7/22

From start to finish very proffesional

"From start to finish very proffesional. I followed up on an advert in the local mag, at first it appeared that they were not local as advertised, however they are separate concerns who work under an umbrella. First was a visit to see what needs to be done and give a price, no hard sell but found two other panes gone as well. These in a very inaccessible location a transom above the kitchen. Then a second visit to accurately measure by the engineers. And thirdly to actually fit the panels. They fixed a locking handle fir which the key was missing and a leaky skylight. Very friendly team of tradesman and his apprentice. A very good price too as one window was an unusual shape. Highly highly recommended. A lot cheaper than replacing the whole window and much more enviromentally conscious."
